Camp VIP exists to create a safe, joyful, and encouraging environment where children in foster care can simply be kids.

For many children, summer camp is a place filled with laughter, friendships, adventures, and lifelong memories. For children who have experienced the challenges and uncertainties of foster care, those experiences can be even more meaningful. Camp VIP was created to provide a week where children feel valued, accepted, supported, and celebrated.

Since 2000, Camp VIP has served children in foster care by providing a fun-filled day camp experience that combines recreation, creativity, mentorship, and personal growth. Through games, arts and crafts, team activities, workshops, and caring relationships, we help children build confidence and discover their potential.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help children in foster care understand that while they did not choose the circumstances that brought them into care, they do have the power to shape their future.

Through positive experiences and supportive mentors, we encourage campers to:

  • Build self-confidence and resilience.
  • Learn to navigate relationships and family transitions.
  • Discover their strengths, talents, and potential.

Camp VIP is designed to provide more than entertainment. Every activity is intentionally planned to create opportunities for growth, connection, and encouragement. Throughout the week, campers participate in interactive workshops, arts and crafts, team sports and recreation, games, mentoring and relationship-building experiences

Our goal is to create an atmosphere where children feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves.

We believe every child deserves to be cared for with dignity and excellence. That’s why Camp VIP provides breakfast, lunch, and healthy snacks each day, along with all activity supplies at no cost to participating families and caregivers.

By removing barriers and creating a welcoming environment, we help ensure every child can fully participate and enjoy the camp experience.
